The Blauer soft shell fleece jacket is the result of a decade of research and development, putting everything you love about fleece into an impressive and professional design approved by patrolmen, deputies, and chiefs alike.  Blauer's revolutionary design begins as a medium-weight microfleece jacket that provides the perfect amount of warmth for cool days and nights. Blauer then covered it in a softshell made from fade-resistant stretch nylon. Many companies use polyester for the shell, which is prone to picking and pilling over time. But Blauer's proprietary material is immune to this decomposition while still providing the freedom of movement you need. Blauer adds a water-repellent treatment to protect you from rain or snow and adds elastic cuffs, microphone tabs, and other features for ultimate functionality when the temperature drops.
